Introduction

Humility is one of the most important leadership virtues. It refers to the willingness of a leader to recognize personal strengths and weaknesses, value the contributions of others, remain teachable, and exercise authority with respect and integrity rather than pride or arrogance. In institutional settings such as schools, universities, churches, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations, humble leadership creates an environment of trust, collaboration, innovation, and accountability, all of which contribute to improved organizational performance.

Institutional leadership performance refers to the extent to which leaders effectively achieve organizational goals through efficient management of human, financial, and physical resources while promoting high standards of service delivery.
